2. The pain in my tooth wasn’t from grinding it, but from an infection in the root.
3. After $70 I am told I have to see a Specialist and that my front tooth is dead. 
4. Pain meds don’t just cut it when your mouth throbs all day
5. Going to the Dentist for a Root Canal is scary
6. My Dentist was really nice.
7. Getting the needle in your Gum isn’t as bad as you might think
8. The drill doesn’t hurt when numbed up — sounds like music if you let it. LOL
9. My tooth is just fine and filled up. Although I could do without the anesthetic wearing off!! OUCH!
10. I’m expecting 5 days of throbbing pain
11. I’m packing it in Ibprofen and panadol
12. When numb, I can’t drink from a cup properly
13. Although my lips feel like trout lips, I doesn’t look any closer to being Angelina Jolie lips all for $900

Yikes. I feel your pain, seriously.
I had to have teeth pulled about 6 years ago, but my dentist didn’t numb me enough and, well, needless to say I was in tears for days.
I’m glad your appointment wasn’t too bad. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

Ouch! Aw, honey, I know what you’re going thru. I had a root canal done last year on an upper molar and had to spend my time in the dentist’s chair UPSIDE-DOWN! Then he tells me I have “baby roots” that are too shallow to put in a crown. So he sculpted me a new tooth from the stuff they use to make fillings. It still feels weird everytime my tongue scrapes it.

lanie - i know what you mean - i had that happen when I got my wisdom teeth removed - I screamed through it and the dentist ignored me! needless to say I didn’t go back to them again.

Major hugs on the root canal. I’ve had one so far. Now if only the dentist hadn’t left a gap between teeth after putting in the crown.

Man. It was painful just reading this! I’ve had too many root canals myself so I completely sympathize.
