Nope,  I don’t mean the writing bug.  I mean a stomach bug.  They aren’t fun at all.  While trying to manage my two girls, one of which wanted to jump all over me. (yey…NOT)  I tried not to turn green.  Green is soo not my color.  Besides, chucking is only reserved for my 3 month old at the moment.  So to give you an idea how bad it is, I’ll use hubby as reference.  I have never known DH not to skip work, he is a work horse.  He can be pale as a ghost, hacking and looking like death warmed over, and he’ll go to work!! I seriously wouldn’t, but then that’s him — he likes to share the love.  If he is feeling under the weather he’ll happily take down the rest of the office with him.  Although he doesn’t see it that way.  Okay, okay, I’m getting to my point:  He took the day off today he was so sick.  OMG!! Who are you and what have you done with my husband??

So we were both sick and feeling under the weather, but thankfully Mia was at daycare today and all I had to deal with was Imogen.  Thankfully, this has been a 48hr bug, so I can eat some food! Yey me.

So what happened to my writing bug?  It was under the weather too.  On a good note I managed 2415 words in 2 days.

Well, not you, but your muse?  Ready to put your muse through the gauntlet of mental boundries and push it until it collapses?  Nano not your thing?  Well maybe you’ll consider 70daysofsweat.  It runs from the 15-Oct to the 15-Jan with 23days of relaxation, chores or downright craziness(aka family).  It’s a program developed by several known romance authors and offers a realistic goal for us mere mortals.   :-)  And if you need more inspiration check out their personal trainer Sven.

I’ve signed my life awayup and have high hopes of getting some much needed direction and MSs off my computer.

My goals are to finish ADW(A Dark Warrior) and work also on my new MS for Shomi (as yet untitled) Now, that being said.  I hate starting Mss that are untitled, it’s like a stall button so I gave it a name that just doesn’t work, so hence it’s called shomi1.  O-original.

So, between my 3yo, my 3month old and my hubby, 2 dog, housework, webwork, and general emails and going crazy, I’ll be doing this.  Yey! I look forward to seeing some faces when I pop around to check out who is doing this with me (I mean the 70daysofsweat not the going crazy… or perhaps we’ll be doing both).

So, I finally bit the bullet and moved my lazy ass over to Wordpress.  What do you think?

So, what have I been doing, since my fall off the radar?  Had a baby, became a mother to another girl, lost a lot of sleep and slowly started up writing again.  As you can see. :-)  The name of the newest addition is Imogen.  We had originally had 2 names waiting for her Eden Brook.  She didn’t come out looking like either and we had a problem.  The first name that came to mind was ‘Imogen’ and it fit.  She is a spitting image of her dad and I can’t get over her blue eyes.

Cute huh?

*ahem*  Now, what is going on in my world of writing?  Well, still working on Dante’s story. Yup, slowly but surely.  AND I have an idea for the Shomi line.  I’m so excited about this one, that I’m just about bursting at the seams.   But alas, I have Dante and Rachel screaming at me to Get’R Done! And I will for sure.

Also, I bought some books from Amazon, some that I’ve been drooling at the mouth for and another that was recently suggested and I will be hoping to get it early November.  What book is it? Emotional Structure: Creating the story beneath the plot.  Why?  Because over the next few months starting in November Romance Divas are going to be doing a workshop directly from this book.  So if you are interested sign up!

Alright, that’s me for now, I’ll try and make more stops from now on.

Peace out!
